Smartlink Solutions (“Smartlink”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides digital ordering, bill management, and cashless payment services for restaurants, cafés, and similar venues. Guests can scan a code, view the menu, place orders, request staff, view their live bill, and pay securely.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you interact with our platform, website, or services (the “Services”).

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three main ways:

a. Information you provide directly

We do not require you to create a personal account to use the guest experience.

b. Information collected automatically

We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the session working (for example: remembering your table/cart until checkout).

c. Payment information

When you choose to pay through Smartlink, you are redirected to a licensed payment processor. We do not store full card numbers, Apple Pay tokens, Google Pay tokens, or CVV. Payment processing (card authorization, fraud checks, settlement) is handled by our payment partners.

We keep these so we can: update the restaurant that you paid; show you bill status; generate financial records for the venue and for compliance.

We keep order and payment records as reasonably required for accounting/reconciliation, chargebacks, and regulatory obligations. If the restaurant requests historical reporting, your transaction details may remain in their sales history.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we store. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Card data is processed by PCI-compliant processors. We do not store full card PAN or CVV codes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion (subject to legal requirements), and objection/limitation. To make a request, contact us at: Support@smartlink-solutions.com. We may need to verify you are the actual customer for that transaction.

8. Children

Not intended for children under 16 without supervision from a parent/guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you are located. By using the Services, you consent to this.

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
